Refurbishment of The Ship Hotel progess to date
All thirty-six bedrooms have now been refurbished and redecorated with new beds and linen, new bathrooms and furnishings - click here to view some rooms.
"The Place at the Ship” is the name of the new-look brasserie and bar at The Ship Hotel. Clean lines, honey-coloured oak flooring, a mix of tub seating, sofas and contemporary dining chairs, and the use of Farrow and Ball paints in shades of white, has created an environment for relaxed and informal meeting and dining.
There is a choice of two function rooms, beautifully refurbished in calming colours with new soft furnishings and flexible furniture enabling formal presentations, informal "brainstorming" or private dining. There is full multi-media equipment and WIFI.
We also own The Place Camber Sands nr Rye in East Sussex (www.theplacecambersands.co.uk) and The Bell Hotel in Sandwich Kent (www.bellhotelsandwich.co.uk). Both hotels have been extensively profiled in the national press and feature in The Michélin Guide and The Good Hotel Guide.
Our aim is always to ensure all guests will be able to enjoy the very best that The Ship Hotel is capable of offering in an informal, relaxed, stylish and comfortable environment.
We genuinely welcome all guests’ ideas and comments. Please let our reception staff know if you have any suggestions that you think we should consider.
